Form of workThe Residential Treatment Coordinator (RTC) will be responsible for day-to-day leadership, administration, and management of the program including developing and implementing a comprehensive therapeutic program for our youth in care. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team and be empowered to think creatively to implement, administer, and deliver therapeutic programming. This will include direct supervision of staff and managing the day-to-day operations of the program.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice or related field. For every year of related experience, discretion can be made in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience work with youth
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be available for on-call and non-traditional hours
- Supervisory experience is required, preferably in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and energetic culture both independently as a member of a team, and must be highly effective and solution focused.
- Varicella Vaccine required OR titers indicating varicella immunity OR documentation from a healthcare provider verifying previous infection.
- MMR (Measles Mumps & Rubella vaccine required OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases.
- Tdap (Tetanus-diptheria-pertussis) vaccine required.
- Influenza vaccine required, one dose annually during flu season.
- Covid: Being fully vaccinated means you have received a primary COVID vaccination series, plus one (1) booster COVID vaccination if you are eligible to be boosted. You are eligible to receive a booster COVID vaccination 4-5 months following your primary COVID vaccination series, depending on which type of COVID vaccine you received during your primary COVID vaccination series.
- Physical (Medical Exam) required.
- Must be able to work 9AM-5PM during new hire orientation to complete TCI(Therapeutic Crisis Intervention), CPR and Sanctuary training and maintain TCI and CPR certification.
- Required to be 21 years or older.
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license per Agency guidelines. Travel required.
- Ability to become TCI Certified and Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certified
- Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse population
