Dental Treatment Coordinator

An experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator is needed for a well-established and expanding practice at our state-of-the-art location with a vibrant staff. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, engaging, friendly, and a self-driven team player because our office seeks to attain 100% patient satisfaction. The candidate must have at least two years of dental experience. Office hours are as follows:

• Mon 9-6 , Tues-Thurs 8:30-6:30 Friday 9-3, Saturday8:30-2:00. 40 hr work week.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure patients understand their treatment plan

• Handle all questions and regarding treatment plans

• Present case fees and financial options to patients to facilitate treatment acceptance

• Educate patients as necessary regarding their dental benefits (working hand in hand with insurance coordinator)

• Determine dental benefit eligibility limitations and payment estimates necessary to facilitate financial arrangements

• Ensure patients are up to date with financial arrangements

• Review aging treatment reports

• Maintain the consult area is neat and welcoming

• Assist in maintaining and developing systems such as checklist to verify workflow and streamline patient care

• Ask satisfied patients for referrals

• Competently communicate with back office

• Customer service skills

• Knowledge of Dentrix a major plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
