Volt is immediately hiring for Bilingual Human Resources Generalist in Nipomo, CA.
As a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist you will:

• Key responsibilities include employee relations, legal compliance, coaching and helping to maintain a safe work environment.
• Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and resolving work-related problems;
• Advise and train managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
• Conduct investigations on employee relations issues i.e. harassment, safety, etc
• Ensure compliance with corporate policy and government regulations;
• Manage employee documentation such as Employee Handbook, and assist with Safety Manual;
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives;
• Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants;
• Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training and labor relations activities;
• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages , and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits;
• Administers the Company's workers' compensation program, which includes monitoring our workers ' compensation rate and developing ways to reduce it
• Provide leadership and direction to operating managers regarding effective accident investigation and management and return to work programs;
• Identify, report and provide solutions for employee safety programs , regulatory compliance and employee health issues;
• Develop and maintain all company occupational safety and health programs ;
• Review all post-accident investigations for process and procedure improvements
• Provide leadership to the Safety Committee in partnership with the Safety Manager
• Strong employee relations and problem solving skills;

This is a fulltime, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Three to five years' proven experience implementing Human Resources programs and policies;
• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers
• Being a team player is essential
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with a variety of departments
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Salary:$60,000 - $77,000K
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
