Volt is immediately hiring for Bilingual Human Resources Generalist in Nipomo, CA.
As a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist you will:
- Key responsibilities include employee relations, legal compliance, coaching and helping to maintain a safe work environment.
- Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and resolving work-related problems;
- Advise and train managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
- Conduct investigations on employee relations issues i.e. harassment, safety, etc
- Ensure compliance with corporate policy and government regulations;
- Manage employee documentation such as Employee Handbook, and assist with Safety Manual;
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives;
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants;
- Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training and labor relations activities;
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages , and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits;
- Administers the Company's workers' compensation program, which includes monitoring our workers ' compensation rate and developing ways to reduce it
- Provide leadership and direction to operating managers regarding effective accident investigation and management and return to work programs;
- Identify, report and provide solutions for employee safety programs , regulatory compliance and employee health issues;
- Develop and maintain all company occupational safety and health programs ;
- Review all post-accident investigations for process and procedure improvements
- Provide leadership to the Safety Committee in partnership with the Safety Manager
- Strong employee relations and problem solving skills;
This is a fulltime, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Three to five years' proven experience implementing Human Resources programs and policies;
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers
- Being a team player is essential
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with a variety of departments
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Salary:$60,000 - $77,000K
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
