Red Envelope is leading the search for a Human Resources Generalist at a manufacturing company. The HR Generalist will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement and other duties as assigned.
Status: Full Time Exempt
Responsibilities:
- The desire to think outside the box and drive creative recruitment techniques
- Maintain an active pipeline and deliver on key hiring metrics
- Conduct bi-weekly recruiting meetings with hiring managers
- Create and post openings on to the company website, social media, and other job platforms to generate interest from candidates
- Review applications and resumes for matching skill sets
- Conduct phone and face to face interviews
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding of all employees
- Provide information to employees regarding PTO and health insurance enrollments
- Maintain and coordinate employee recognition and health and wellness programs
- Create and maintain employee files and I-9's
- Assist in creating employee retention and engagement programs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma with 5 years of HR related experience
- 2+ years of recruiting experience is required in a manufacturing or staffing agency setting
- 3+ years of HR related experience
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- CIR, ACIR, CSSR, PRC, CSMR, PHR or SHRM certifications is a plus
- Must have experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must be proficient in utilizing an Applicant Tracking System
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed, takes initiative, and follows through to completion
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit - you do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves and get things done, you're innately results-oriented, humble and collaborative
- Flexible and adaptable - you can pivot quickly and effectively to meet changing priorities and work on a wide range of skill sets
- Proven track record of proven results with minimal budget
