PCSI is looking for a Benefits Coordinator to assist with employee benefits administration on our People Team! The Benefits Coordinator acts as the first line of support for benefit questions and changes from employees. This role is also responsible for conducting information sessions with new hires, reconciling monthly bills, and maintaining and gathering information for audits.
We are looking for a good communicator with strong administrative skills and introductory knowledge of human resources and employee benefits. This position is hybrid from our corporate office in south Austin, TX.
Benefits Include:
- Base pay of $28.00-30.00/hr
- Annual bonus of up to 6%.
- 21 days of PTO per year, in addition to all federal holidays.

What You'll Do as Benefits Coordinator:
- Responds to benefit and 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan/status changes, contribution amounts, distribution request and other general inquires.
- Explains the various benefit options to new and existing employees and assist with online enrollment.
- Acts as liaison between employee and insurance provider, as necessary.
- Maintains files and records of individual employee benefits; and gather documents for compliance audits.
- Assist in annual open enrollment process.
- Runs reports for billing charges for monthly billing reconciliation, calculate and reconcile premiums.
- Research, address issues from weekly fallout vendor files; if applicable.
- Assist with employee benefit events, as needed.
- Stays up to date on state and federal regulations concerning insurance and other employee benefits.
- Act as liaison between employees and Lincoln for FMLA Administration.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED with some college course work completed. Bachelor's degree or technical training in human resources is preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of prior work in Human Resources with benefits experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to set and manage priorities.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
- May need to have the ability to legally drive a company vehicle.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc. and a personal computer.
- Ability to exchange accurate information in person and over the phone.
- Primarily works indoors.
- Occasional travel may be required, up to 5%.
