Job description

What You Will Do:
The Total Wellbeing Fitness and Benefits Coordinator plans and facilitates health and wellness activities and programs for employees. Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, personal training, and fitness assessments that promote healthy lifestyles. Leads the member-facing aspects of the corporate gym facilities. Provides a positive and encouraging presence in the fitness center to ensure all employees feel supported in completing safe and effective workouts. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment in corporate fitness center facilities and monitors safety conditions at all external events promoted by the Total Wellbeing program. Ensures ongoing upkeep and maintenance of equipment. Tracks and trends fitness center usage and Total Wellbeing program participation. Responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, financial wellness and employee assistance programs. Assists with all benefits enrollments using our HRIS system. Presents Total Wellbeing content in new-hire orientations and in other group settings as assigned. Assists in responding to Total Wellbing program inquiries from managers and employees. Organizes and facilitates onsite events such as blood drives, mobile mammography, and flu shot clinics. Responsible for all aspects of the gym reimbursement program. Develops and conducts small group wellness focused training sessions. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
What We Require:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years as a personal trainer or related industry experience. Ability to obtain a group fitness instructor certification. Two (2) years' experience in HR and/or benefits administration. Must have foundational knowledge of employer benefit regulations including but not limited to ERISA, ADA, FMLA. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Must be available to work up evenings and Weekends based on business need. This position will be onsite at our Corporate Campus and La Cantera. Current First aid, CPR and AED certification. Knowledge of MS Office applications and related software.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor degree in Kinesiology or equivalent education and/or experience. Experience working with corporate employee benefit plans. Current ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or other health/fitness certification. Benefits certification or working towards one such as CEBS. Experience working in an employer-owned or corporate-sponsored fitness facility. High level of professionalism, customer service, honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
