Want a rewarding career working with children? Apply to be a Behavioral Line Technician at our early intervention clinic for children with autism at Capital Area Human Services (CAHS). Our program, ASCEND, is a part of a state agency and serves children with autism aged 2-7 years. We have a close-knit team that serves between 6-8 clients in our clinic. Behavioral Line Technicians work 1:1 and in small groups with the children teaching them communication, social, play, and adaptive skills under the supervision of a behavior analyst. We offer free training on techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and ongoing, frequent supervision to prepare and support you in this role. This position requires an interest and/or experience working with children and willingness to learn new skills in our field. Our staff work consistent, weekday schedules with no weekend hours required. Further training opportunities are offered to staff wanting to pursue advanced degrees/credentials in our field.
