SalaryJob Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team. As a RLT/RBT, you will provide support and assistance to children with developmental disabilities. Your role will involve implementing behavior management strategies, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and community integration. No prior experience is required. We offer a comprehensive on-site training that will take you through the entire process of getting certified as a Registered Line Technician with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board. We are currently accepting applications for part-time and full-time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior management plans and strategies developed by the behavior analyst
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, toileting, and eating
- Document individual progress and behaviors in a HIPAA compliant documentation program
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for children
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues is highly desirable, but not a requirement
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is a plus, but all training is given on-site
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions based on individual needs
