Job Description:
Numa is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the recovery journey of our clients by providing compassionate support and ensuring their safety and well-being during the detoxification process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Offer empathetic assistance to clients undergoing detoxification, providing encouragement and reassurance as they navigate withdrawal symptoms.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor clients closely, observing for any changes in behavior or physical condition, and promptly report any concerns to the clinical team.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere rigorously to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment for clients and staff members.
- Assistance with Activities: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, hygiene, and recreational activities, promoting their comfort and dignity.
- Crisis Intervention: Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management skills to address challenging situations and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
- Collaborative Approach: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, including medical staff, counselors, and support personnel, to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
- Education and Empowerment: Provide clients with education regarding detoxification, addiction, and recovery resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, treatment activities, and observations in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Therapeutic Environment: Foster a therapeutic environment conducive to healing, promoting respect, dignity, and support for all clients.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of best practices in addiction treatment and Behavioral Health through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
