The Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for providing screening, brief intervention, clinical coordination, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) and other Behavioral Health services to FHC’s patients. Functions as a core member of an integrated care team including the patient’s primary care provider and other Behavioral Health providers involved in the patient’s care. Works closely with other FHC Providers in a Team-Based Care/Behavioral Health Integration environment. Must be willing to work in Omak and Tonasket, Washington.
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of behavioral and mental health typically acquired through a formal Master or Doctorate level degree program in counseling, social work or psychology. Fluency in English/Spanish preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
LICSW OR LMHC - Licensed Independent Professional according to all regulations in Washington State. (RCW 18.225 and WAC 246-809).
