We are the Provider to provide service in Philadelphia, PA to an individual with mild Intellectual Disabilities between the ages of 50-65.
We are seeking a Behavior Support Specialist for the below shifts:
Late Morning, Afternoon and/or Evening shifts Monday through Friday.

SCS is a statewide provider which affords our staff the possibility of working near or within their surrounding area based on business and client needs. (Our primary target area is Philadelphia county and the surrounding counties of Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware)
SCS is currently looking to contract a Behavior Support Professional as an Independent Contractor in the Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and analyzing assessment findings so that an appropriate Behavior Support plan can be designed;
- Developing a Behavior Support plan consistent with the targeted outcomes identified in the person-centered individualized service plan;
- Training and consulting with family individuals or other providers and, as appropriate, to the individual.
- Monitoring and evaluating the success of the Behavior Support plan and modifying it as necessary.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 2+ year(s) of experience in working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disAbilities/Autism
- Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or Gerontology, OR PA Behavior Specialist License
- Training in conducting and using Functional Behavioral Assessment & in positive behavioral support
- State Issued Identification and/or Driver's License (DL Preferred but not required)
- State Required Clearances (Criminal Clearance, FBI Clearance as well as additional Clearances mandated by the Office of Developmental Programs/State/Federal Regulations)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (Preferred but can be scheduled Upon Hire)
- Access to a Registered/Insured Vehicle (Preferred but not Necessary)
