Behavior Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to support individuals with special needs, including those with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide direct support and intervention to individuals, both in group settings and one-on-one.
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social skills, communication skills, and adaptive behaviors.
- Assist individuals in developing independent living skills and promoting their overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions, progress, and observations.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data collection and record keeping.
