Foster Garvey PC, a premier law firm in the Pacific Northwest, is actively seeking a BD and Pursuits Manager for our Seattle office. This critical role collaborates closely with the Chief BD and Marketing Officer, focusing on establishing and executing strategic plans, programs, and activities to drive growth in specific practice and industry groups.
Role Description:
The BD Manager will forge robust relationships with Practice Group Leaders, Industry Group Leaders, and Principals throughout the firm. This collaboration is vital in nurturing a culture of proactive business development. The role involves working in tandem with a dynamic Marketing team to support our entrepreneurial firm, renowned for its exceptional client roster. We are looking for an energetic and motivated
individual with a proven business development track record, including pursuits, account management, client planning, and training. Preferably, this experience will come from the legal sector or a broader range of professional services.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and support the business development strategy to attract and grow our client base across key industries and practice areas.
• Create and launch BD initiatives tailored to specific needs, including coaching attorneys to achieve their BD goals.
• Utilize data and market insights to identify revenue opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Lead significant prospect activities and play a central role in developing pitch responses.
• Enhance the efficiency and consistency of our BD and pitch infrastructure.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for high-impact thought leadership and branding campaigns.
• Oversee strategic directory submissions and multi-channel content development aligned with our Business Development plans.
• Coordinate and implement campaigns, in collaboration with the Marketing team, to promote core service lines and industry expertise.
• Foster and manage a client-focused team, emphasizing market insight and continuous professional growth.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 7 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a Legal/Professional Services firm.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on education, training, experience, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
