Bartender/Server

Honky Tonk Bar & Grill, located in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Bartender-Server. As a Bartender-Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and efficiency.
-Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders accurately.
-Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
-Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service by adhering to all alcohol service regulations and company policies.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders, and deliver orders to guests promptly.
-Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.Uphold the highest standards of customer service, anticipating and addressing guests' needs to ensure a positive experience.
-Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on menu items, promotions, and company policies.
-Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in bartending and serving roles preferred.
-Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, with the ability to mix and serve drinks efficiently.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
-Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
-Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and willingness to comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
-Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
