Barista - Mobile Coffee Truck

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt service and resolving any issues or complaints
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed

Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Hours will vary and are flexible. Shifts include weekday mornings, weekends, and events.

Location: this is a mobile unit so locations will vary. Primary location will be in Howard county.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
