Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the cash register
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to established recipes and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing food items
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
