Back-Office Operations (Dividends) - Contract (Hybrid-Flexible)

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Back-Office Operations Associate to join our Business Processes Outsourcing team in our Newark, NJ location for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will contribute specifically to back-office functions in Dividends, Fixed Income, Bond processing, Corporate Actions by: coordinating operational activities, overseeing various internal and external relationships, reporting to management, and leading change initiatives to remove redundancies and create efficiencies.

This is a temporary contract position expected to last approximately 6 months. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities:

• Apply solid knowledge of back-office processing of: Mandatory Corporate Actions, Cash Dividends, Fixed Income P&I, bonds, etc.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, report, and communicate data effectively
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing, managing, and identifying risk
• Communicate with clients via phone and email
• Provide guidance and leadership to teammates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Pay close attention to detail, process work accurately and work on repetitive tasks

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with back office operations, or 2-3 years specific to Dividends or Fixed Income back-office
• Working knowledge of DCT systems required
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Familiarity with Impact and BPS, Bloomberg is a plus
• Working knowledge of restricted stock, and pending papers transactions a plus
• Must be able to travel to the Newark, NJ office at least 3 days per week, the rest of the days work remotely
