Essential Job Functions:
Under direct supervision, responsibilities include one or more of the following for small or medium sized projects:
- Exhibits understanding of the PI system and its components.
- Possesses Ability to understand interrelationships between systems and components.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, urgency, and attention to detail to support real time operations.
- Meets with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs. Helps design and install customized software and hardware solutions for the customer.
- Tests the performance of the installed system and fix bugs. Provide post-installation follow-ups.
- Begins developing relationships and maintains customer relations.
- Supports the business unit with all technical related queries.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Solution Engineer Associate (SG5):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: No additional experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Solution Engineer (SG6):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
Education:
- BS Engineer, Computer Science, or related technical field
Experience:
- Possesses experience with AVEVA PI or Instrumentation and Control systems.
- Possesses experience with AVEVA PI administration.
- Possesses Operational Technology experience - Power Plant Control Systems such as Ovation.
- Understands Communications Protocols - OPC, Modbus, DNP

- Solution Engineer (SG6): $70,961 - $88,700.50
