As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, order processing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain inventory levels of Automotive Parts and supplies
- Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers to source and procure parts
- Utilize an order management system to track orders and manage inventory
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving issues
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient storage and organization of parts
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory counts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts department operation

- Minimum 5 years of Automotive Parts department managerial/operational experience
- The ability to satisfactorily meet or exceed forecasts set forth, as well as meeting industry standards on both growth and performance.
- Manufacturer relationship skills
- Setting weekly, monthly, and annual objectives --- Accomplishing these objectives by using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, pricing, merchandising, and advertising
- Hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring performance of all parts department staff
- Maintaining a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the Service Dept and other remote locations
- Must have the ability to establish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover
- Inventory control – weekly bin checks, monthly inventory reconciliations
- Monitoring and adjusting inventory to minimize obsolescence
- Develop and utilizes a “lost sales” tracking report with all brands
- Management of parts inventories over $500,000.00. Multi-brand experience is preferred but not required
- Dealer Track DMS and Hyundai, Subaru, or Volvo experience is preferred
- All applicants must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test
