SalaryOverview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of parts for our dealership. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent logistics skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties: - Fabricate and maintain an accurate inventory of parts - Utilize AS400 system to track and manage parts inventory - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts - Manage procurement processes, including negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers - Oversee shipping and receiving operations for parts - Train and supervise parts department staff - Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and data entry - Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries and orders Skills: - Strong knowledge of Automotive Parts and dealership operations - Proficient in inventory control systems, such as AS400 or similar software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks - Knowledge of logistics and procurement management - Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills - Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
