Role
· Primary responsibility will be in developing and managing a newly formed engineering department including 2-3 direct reports. This is a “hands-on” position
· Project Management – Lead the planning and execution of major plant projects
· Completion of an intensive 90-day training period that will include hands-on exposure to all plant processes, systems and equipment; involves occasional night and weekend work during this period
· Lead and facilitate plant improvement projects – Cost saving and efficiency improvement
· Utilize existing process data for analysis and improvement
· Position reports directly to the Plant Manager
Minimum Qualifications
· 5+ Years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment
· Proficiency in MS Project and similar project management tools
· 3D CAD/CAE proficiency utilizing a variety of software packages
· Ability and willingness to spend 10-20% of the time in conditions that include heat, noise, dust
· BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar
Desired Qualifications
· Experience in the metals, glass, cement or similar process industries
· Ability to speak/read/write in Spanish a plus
· Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing Concepts & Toyota Production Process
· Metallurgical training a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
