- Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and service advisors
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in the service department
- Schedule and assign work to technicians based on skill level and workload
- Monitor the progress of repairs and provide guidance or assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer interactions
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or similar role in an automotive dealership or repair shop
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive diagnostics
- Proficient in air brake systems, transmission repair, brake repair, shocks/struts replacement, and other common automotive repairs
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
