Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Internet Director to help build our Internet department. You will work directly with our leadership team to develop and execute our internet sales strategy, including managing digital marketing and all online sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and energized, have deep marketing and sales expertise, and have experience effectively applying that expertise in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities of an Automotive Internet Director may include:
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, generate leads, and drive sales. This may involve managing online advertising campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Online Sales Management: Working closely with the sales team to manage and optimize the dealership's online sales process. This may include monitoring and responding to online inquiries, managing online chat systems, and coordinating with the sales team to ensure timely and effective customer follow-up.
- Website Management: Overseeing the dealership's website, ensuring that it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines. This may involve managing website content, tracking website analytics, and implementing improvements based on user behavior and feedback.
- Lead Generation and Management: Implementing strategies to generate leads through various online channels, such as the dealership's website, third-party automotive websites, and online advertising platforms. The Internet Director may also be responsible for lead management, ensuring that leads are properly tracked, assigned to salespeople, and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Online Reputation Management: Monitoring and managing the dealership's online reputation by monitoring customer reviews and feedback on platforms like Google, Yelp, and social media. Responding to customer reviews, addressing concerns, and managing online brand perception is a crucial aspects of the role.
- Analytics and Reporting: Using data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, online sales efforts, and website performance. This involves generating reports, analyzing data, and making data-driven decisions to improve results and ROI.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as an Internet Director at an automotive dealership
- Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Deep understanding of CRM systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred in bold
Salary: $12,000-$15,000 per month
