We have several open positions for hands-on engineers to help us develop, construct, commission, and improve our processing equipment. The Indiana locations are focused on state-of-the-art nutrient management technology for agriculture that will help solve nutrient pollution and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This system is easily the most exciting and innovative nutrient management system in existence.
You will design, test, and build prototype equipment to answer fundamental questions about processing dairy waste into valuable components like clean water and organic fertilizer.
As our equipment is installed and commissioned, you will help debug problems, innovate designs, and implement changes that will focus on automation/process controls while also being involved mechanical, electrical, chemical/biological elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capable of learning electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting of process controls (sensors, actuators, pumps, valves, etc.)
- Shows aptitude for PLC programming and process control logic
- Very hands-on: enjoys doing mechanical repair and assembly
- Highly intelligent and curious
- Biased for action, can complete tasks with urgency
- Capable of becoming a leader of small teams, coordinating fast-paced projects with engineers and technicians
- A direct communicator
- Willingness to travel to support site needs for a minimum of 6 weeks per year
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Three or more years' experience in a similar field or related role.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $75,000-$122,000/annually
- Discretionary bonus
- The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
