Job Title:QA Engineer, Automation
Job Location: Seattle/Hybrid
Job Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate range: $55.00 - $60.00/hr. (W2 ONLY)
 
Job Description:

Are you an excellent quality assurance engineer & enthusiast who cherishes learning, sharing, giving, and receiving feedback, and improving your and the teams knowledge?
As part of team, In this role you will play key role in handling test tools, creating, maintaining and triaging test cases. This Engineer will work closely with Software Developers to understand requirements.
General Responsibilities:

• Working on API testing, making sure it is working on API and create automated test cases. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test reports
• Ensure QA tools are maintained and enhanced as needed. Ensure automation framework is maintained and enhanced as needed.
• Create and maintain automation framework for API testing.

Required Qualification:

• 3+ years of OOP experience with languages like C#, Java, Python, etc.
• 3+ years JavaScript application design and testing experience. Solid knowledge of web application frameworks such as React and Node.js
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/spinnaker.
• Experience with source code repository like GIT, TFS or subversion
• In depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies; Waterfall and Agile;
• [UI testing requirement] Experience working on UI testing tools like Selenium or Swift
• Should have managed testing of a release from requirements to go live(prod)
• Experience in working with databases mysql and postgres.
