We are looking for:
- a high school diploma
- experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, construction trades, or AC maintenance
What is the work?
Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement / Training:
Buildings & Grounds
- Leads other technicians to troubleshoot / repair, / replace building and grounds equipment or systems
- Identifies / corrects root cause of pavement, roofing, floors, drainage, and other systems failures
- Provides appropriate training to other technicians, operations Partners, vendors
- Identifies / corrects failures in central facility support systems
- Identifies / corrects root causes of failures in major mechanical systems (AS / RS, carousels, automated cranes etc.)
- Identifies / corrects root causes of failures on automated packaging, stamping equipment, conveyor systems, sorters, etc.
- Installs new production equipment to manufacturer recommendations
- Trains lower-level technicians
- Identifies / corrects root causes of failure with facility hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machine components
- Trains / assists other technicians in the operation / repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (pressure compensation, flow control devices, actuators, system balancing, safety, and operation, etc.)
- Identifies / corrects root causes of HVAC and cooling system failures
- Trains / assists lower-level technicians to repair HVAC equipment or replace major components
- Identifies / corrects root causes of major fire suppression system and major component failures
- Trains lower-level technicians to properly troubleshoot / repair fire suppression system
- Installs electrical circuits to power and control 480-volt electrical equipment
- Troubleshoots / repairs / restores programming for complex production equipment electrical and electronic systems (PLC control systems, servos, variable frequency drives, etc.)
- Performs skill-level appropriate PM tasks on electrical systems
- Trains / assists lower-level technicians to perform electrical maintenance tasks efficiently while following safety guidelines
- Prepares equipment and materials for welding by cutting, grinding, or heating
- Properly uses metal working tools (grinders, saws, drills, metal workers, etc.)
- Brazes and cuts metal equipment using an oxygen / acetylene torch
- Makes complex equipment / facility repairs using electric arc stick, MIG, TIG, plasma or oxygen / acetylene equipment
- Assists / trains lower-level technicians on more complex repairs or fabrication that requires metal working and welding
Compliance:
- Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) related to work order and parts requisitions completion
- Completes accident and incident reports in compliance with policy
Leadership:
- Stays informed by reading bulletin boards and technical bulletins; seeks opportunities to learn new ideas, methods, technologies
- Serves as subject matter expert in multiple skills; performs certification of lower-level techs in these skills; shares expertise / experience with others
- Role models service expectations for new Partners
What is your background?
- High school diploma
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, construction trades, or AC maintenance
