Responsibilities - Service Manager:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the automotive service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation
- Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering positive relationships with clients
- Monitor service quality and compliance with company standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to optimize service offerings and enhance overall customer experience
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, and incorporate relevant developments into department operations
Qualifications - Service Manager:
- Automotive Service Manager experience is required
- Ford experience highly preferred
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude
- Must have strong time management skills and pay close attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable, takes initiative
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and/or smart phone skills
