Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience

Requirements:
- Ability to interpret and initiate authorization requests through a variety of methods.
- Willingness to communicate with a team effectively and thoroughly.
- Able to analyze data across multiple formats.
- Ability to communicate with patients and caregivers in a manner that will promote understanding of their insurance.
- Knowledge and use of EHR software.
- Understanding of scheduling needs and availability.
Job Description:
- Assist with completion of eligibility checks for current patients.
- Receive, process and fax medical records to MD office or insurance in a timely manner, and file appropriately in the patient charts.Follow up with MD offices and insurance companies to confirm receipt of faxes.
- Receive, process and fax authorizations in a timely manner and file appropriately to patient charts.
- Work assigned EMR dashboards based on authorization workflow process daily (POCs, faxes, authorizations, scheduling).
- Able to run reports and analyze spreadsheets to comply with scheduling requirements.
- Ensure treatments begin in a timely manner by communicating with the scheduling teams.
- Demonstrate and provide a high level of compassionate customer service in every encounter.
- Comply with applicable company policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Able to multitask, troubleshoot, prioritize, and present a polished, positive image to referral sources, co-workers, field staff, patients, and families.
