Audit Associate - Entry-Level - July/September 2023 Or January 2024

Overview
Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is seeking driven, passionate and collaborative individuals to join our expanding Audit practice. This position can be based out of our San Francisco office, San Jose office, or it can be full-time remote. Group start date options are offered in late July or early September, but we may be able to accommodate individual start dates should your timeline differ. Offers will be extended to join either our Venture Capital or Corporate (private company) practice areas. We will aim to explore and confirm you practice area interest during your initial interview.
In each of our practice areas, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse array of clients. Our nationally ranked Venture Capital practice works with the progressive funds and fund managers fueling Silicon Valley's innovation. Our Corporate audit group focuses on emerging to late stage startups pursuing ambitious growth and exit strategies. Working with these industry disrupters and serial entrepreneurs, we support our clients beyond delivering an audit by also providing operational insight.

Responsibilities

• Attending client meetings and engagement planning meetings
• Participating in all phases of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
• Assuring reasonableness of client financials through various testing procedures
• Utilizing analytical and technical skills to complete audit workpapers
• Helping clients prepare for and evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions
• Exercising professional skepticism while prioritizing and completing tasks
• Working with a diverse group of talented Assurance & Advisory professionals

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's and/or Master's program, with an accounting focus preferred
• Final graduation date between December 2022 and June 2023
• Educational requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) for California CPA licensure completed prior to start date
• Minimum GPA of 3.0, with a higher major GPA preferred

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $86,000 per year.
