Attorney - Sex Crime Litigation

Direct Counsel has partnered with a highly reputable law firm located in Los Angeles, CA seeking a 3-5 year experienced litigation/trial attorney for their Sex Crime and civil litigation practice. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of solid litigation experience and have some trial experience. Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
• Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
• Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Work with experts
• Conduct legal research
• Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
• The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

• Must have a minimum of 3 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts
