ATM Field Service Engineer
Criteria
In depth technical knowledge of either the NCR, Diebold, Triton and/or Hyosung ATM line is required. Excellent technical expertise and customer relations skills possessed. Person must be capable of servicing complex and highly technical territory. Must have a valid driver’s license as well as producing positive results of drug, background, credit and polygraph screening.

Responsibilities
Customer satisfaction is a primary obligation of each Field Engineer. This is accomplished by managing response times, prioritizing service requests, and performing preventive maintenance. Accurate record keeping, call completion and parts inventory management are also functions of the Field Engineer.
Reporting
Field Engineer will report to the Vice President of the company. Field Engineer should be aware of escalation procedures and how to implement “problem assistance” escalations when required. They shall report any customer situations that are viewed as less than satisfactory.
Duties
Prioritize and schedule all service requests that are assigned. Schedule and perform preventive maintenance with all accounts.
- Excellent customer relations skills are a must. Call all customers with pending service requests within 30 minutes to inform them of your status and provide an estimated time of arrival.
- Work harmoniously with fellow technicians and company employees
- Respond to all service requests within response time criteria from the time the request was received.
- Perform or assist in equipment installations, conversions, upgrades and etc. at customer site(s).
- Report any customer concerns to the Vice President.
- Proper parts inventory management must be maintained.
- Maintain good communications with marketing staff. Elevate any sales opportunities.
- Close all service requests in a timely manner with accurate and complete details.
- Insure proper maintenance and care of any company property.
- Maintain a service call log in detail where required.
- Submit accurate and timely records. (Reports including time, expense, PM, vehicle and etc.)
- Physical requirements include driving to the customer site, carrying in a tool kit and/or parts kit, standing, sitting, kneeling or lying on the floor to access and work on the equipment. Use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, volt meter, soldering iron, pliers, crimpers and other electronic tools
