Join our team as the New Association Director of Member Experience with the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth!
This position of Association Director of Member Experience requires strong leadership and organizational skills; an understanding of programs, services and relationships needed to meet the growing needs of a growing and diverse communities; and a commitment to use a broad array of traditional and modern communication channels to effectively present the values, priorities and work of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the mission and work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization. They are responsible for leading the Association's Membership Quality Team to improve new member acquisition, member engagement and retention, membership operations, membership revenue and the membership net promoter score. The Association Director of Member Experience assures the well-being for each participant is in line with YMCA of the USA guidelines and association policies in accordance with their training.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience required (YMCA membership experience preferred)

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
  • This leader will need the ability to connect and relate with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking and planning experience
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Fundraising and financial management experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Models the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization; supporting members to connect with each other and the YMCA.
  • Maintains physical presence and always remains alert while on duty.
  • Lead the implementation of tools and tactics supporting the Association's customer service strategy (i.e. branch inspections, manager-on-duty quick checks, customer service surveys, digital comment cards, etc.) to support improving the branch's Net Promoter Scores on member surveys.
  • Assist the development, training, implementation and tracking of Association-wide SOP's across each branch to drive improved membership acquisition, retention, and engagement results.
  • Supports enhancement of member service & welcome center operations and tracks MSR performance improvements on key metrics.
  • Supports Association training and improvement in the use of technology & systems, including Daxko. Considered the Association expert in Daxko and liaison with Daxko staff.
  • Collects, analyzes, creates and presents meaningful reports on key membership data.
  • Knows, follows, and enforces all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, procedures, and staff expectations, including those for the prevention of child abuse.
  • Ambassador of all YMCA programs with a focus on department offerings and member engagement.
  • Ensures optimization of Membership revenue via collections, processes, corporate relationships, pricing models and system audits.
  • Is willing to step up, even if outside of the position description, to contribute to the overall success of the YMCA.
  • Serves as a resource to the YMCA branch Membership Directors, Membership Associate, Membership Service Coordinator, and the Member Service Team subcommittees to drive excellence in achieving approved Association initiatives.
  • Support implementation of approved YUSA & 3rd party initiatives/relationships (i.e. Silver Sneakers, NFLPA, etc.)
  • Support the branch's membership marketing needs (i.e. grassroots, collateral production, ordering, usage, tracking, branch member service events, cross-department collaboration, etc.)
  • Demonstrate ability to create a member focus culture and model relationship building across the association.
  • Leads the Association's Membership Service Team's monthly meetings, subcommittee initiatives, and other key Association-wide work.
  • Provide mentorship and development to the membership team, including hiring processes and new director training.
  • Ability to drive to various locations in the Fort Worth area.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Woth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.
The yearly salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
