Manufacturing Project Manager
Details:
- Pay: $85k-$100k per year (depending on exp.)
- Location: Louisville, KY (40258)
- Direct Hire position with a Nationwide, Family owned company

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform Project Management tasks for existing and new Manufacturing Projects including creating and maintaining project:
- Charters
- Schedules
- Cost trackers
- Risk registers
- Lessons learned
- Communication with:
- On site vendors for facility projects and equipment installations
- Vendors for outsourced fabrication, machining etc.
- Equipment manufacturers
- Part suppliers
- Internal stakeholders including on site leadership, Manufacturing Projects Team, and Management
- Work extensively with Manufacturing Projects Team members as subject matter experts on a variety of Manufacturing Projects
- Some Manufacturing Project categories include:
- New equipment design and fabrication
- Existing equipment maintenance or overhaul
- New equipment specification and procurement
- Equipment installation
- New Product R&D
- Facility expansions/updates
- New facility construction
- Manufacturing process improvement
- Document and organize all projects worked on.
- Support operations and company initiatives.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Base Qualifications and Competencies:
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or other Engineering discipline preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years’ of project management experience
- Certifications: PMP certification preferred
- Experience with manufacturing equipment or facilities management preferred.
- Skills:
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
- Scheduling (Smartsheet preferred)
- Strong communication and organization skills required
- Team Player who works well as a member of a group
- Leadership skills to help inspire teammates to follow them
- Detail Oriented
- Thought Provoking, need to be capable of making others think deeply on a subject
- Self Motivated, Goal Oriented Individual
- Ability to make an impact
