- KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Membership Growth and Development:
- Responsible for all aspects of membership growth and development.
- Manage membership billings, drafts, and payments.
- Accountable for sales growth and membership retention.
- Staff Development:
- Directly responsible for developing the staff of the welcome center.
- Accountable for hiring, training, and developing a highly energized staff.
- Cultivate a cohesive staff team focused on exceptional service.
- Reporting and Statistics:
- Responsible for generating and analyzing membership reports and statistics.
- Highlight critical membership opportunities for new and current members.
- Leadership and Teamwork:
- Integral part of a staff team environment.
- Seen as a leader in the branch, providing necessary support and guidance.
- Financial Accountability:
- Accountable for achieving monthly budgeted expectations for revenue and expenses.
- Manage the budgeted net and provide leadership for the Annual Campaign.
- Child Watch Program:
- Oversee the Child Watch Program.
- Responsible for the budget associated with this program.
Requirements
- Must have a 4 year degree in a related field or the equivalent in related work experience in the YMCA or a membership based heath and wellness organization.
- Must have a background in membership sales and development.
- Must have a background in child watch.
- Must have strong skills in member relations and be committed to engaging members to ensure a growing retention rate.
- Will provide direct staff leadership for all staff in the member services department.
- Must have skills to hire, train and develop a high performing, friendly staff that is focused on the delivery of exceptional service to our members and guests.
