The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is actively seeking a cause driven leader to join the team as a Membership Director at the T. Boone Family YMCA.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and 2 destination camps and employs over 2,000 staff - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families and communities. We are one of the largest YMCAs in North America and serve over 200,000 people annually through programs and events.

1. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES
2. Membership Growth and Development:
   
   • Responsible for all aspects of membership growth and development.
   • Manage membership billings, drafts, and payments.
   • Accountable for sales growth and membership retention.
3. Staff Development:
   
   • Directly responsible for developing the staff of the welcome center.
   • Accountable for hiring, training, and developing a highly energized staff.
   • Cultivate a cohesive staff team focused on exceptional service.
4. Reporting and Statistics:
   
   • Responsible for generating and analyzing membership reports and statistics.
   • Highlight critical membership opportunities for new and current members.
5. Leadership and Teamwork:
   
   • Integral part of a staff team environment.
   • Seen as a leader in the branch, providing necessary support and guidance.
6. Financial Accountability:
   
   • Accountable for achieving monthly budgeted expectations for revenue and expenses.
   • Manage the budgeted net and provide leadership for the Annual Campaign.
7. Child Watch Program:
   
   • Oversee the Child Watch Program.
   • Responsible for the budget associated with this program.

Requirements

• Must have a 4 year degree in a related field or the equivalent in related work experience in the YMCA or a membership based heath and wellness organization.
• Must have a background in membership sales and development.
• Must have a background in child watch.
• Must have strong skills in member relations and be committed to engaging members to ensure a growing retention rate.
• Will provide direct staff leadership for all staff in the member services department.
• Must have skills to hire, train and develop a high performing, friendly staff that is focused on the delivery of exceptional service to our members and guests.
