Required Duties:
Must be able to work in a professional engineering team-based environment. Technician is responsible for learning new skills, including operating Sonic Inspection Equipment and analyzing results. Duties may include and are not limited to supporting customer production, inspecting material for defects, taking detailed and accurate records, onsite support, internal/external training, and technical consultation. The candidate must be willing to perform daily inspection activities within fixed time intervals of customer's material, while on the customer's floor.

Responsibilities:

Required skills
Basic knowledge of designing, programming, simulation and testing automated machinery.
Ability to read controls hardware drawings and mechanical sequence of operations.
Basic electrical, pipefitting and mechanical building knowledge would be a plus.
Mechanical engineering skills including dynamics and kinematics
Maintain strong lines of communication internally and with the customer
Computer skills
MS Office - Advanced skills of MS Excel

Basic knowledge in project management Tools

Experience with Simulation Software

Education and Experience:
Community college Diploma or higher, in the field of Automation or Robotics
One to three years' experience in related Robotics Field
