We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Associate to join our Strategy & Development team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain valuable industry insights, and contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Support due diligence efforts by reviewing property records, zoning regulations, environmental assessments, and other relevant documents to assess risks and opportunities associated with potential acquisitions or developments.
- Property Transition: Oversee 3rd party management of 1mm GSF+ national portfolio of existing office & industrial buildings as they are prepared for redevelopment.
- Easement Acquisitions: Execute acquisitions of easements and rights of way for telecom, power, utilities in support of development projects.
- Site Visits: Participate in site visits and property inspections to assess property conditions, constraints, and development potential.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Support: Provide administrative and project management support as needed to ensure the successful execution of Strategy & Development projects.
- Market Research: Conduct research and analysis of real estate market trends, competitive supply, and economic indicators to quantify potential development opportunities.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in financial modeling and feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of real estate projects, including cost estimates, revenue projections, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally (South America, Latin America, Canada)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for the data center industry, and a willingness to learn.
