Head of Strategy and Transformation, Lead to Cash
Description Summary:
Lead to Cash (L2C) organization is dedicated to reinventing HP's cross-functional processes with the objective of driving efficiency and business outcomes as well as enhancing Sales, Customer and Partner experience. L2C is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader who will be responsible for Strategy and Transformation. This role will lead the core Strategy & Planning function to ensure L2C vision is achieved meeting or exceeding various internal and external benchmark goals. It will also oversee the overall Process Transformation driving zero based creation of new L2C processes. It is a high-profile position that requires monthly interaction with advisory boards, C-level executives, and external consultants. A strong HP network especially in Finance, CO and Supply Chain is required.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive strategy for transformation activities for enterprise-wide lead to cash processes through collaboration with all relevant BU/functions.
• Lead mapping of the value chain processes to provide digital insights and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Benchmark against best-in-class standards and provide a clear framework for measuring success and progress.
• Fully accountable for managing the review process for the L2C vision with advisory boards, C-level executives, and external consultants.
• Distill the essence of advisory boards discussions to turn it into concrete improvement plans and relevant KPIs to measure progress, process changes, capability improvements, and change management activities.
• Set up cross functional Operating Steering Committees (OSC) for applicable transformations.
• Partner with senior sales leadership to understand key sales drivers, including critical levers to deliver business results.
• Lead market engagement by developing a robust MOC plan to ensure L2C objectives are clearly understood and conduct periodic progress surveys with markets.
• Establish a rigorous system for tracking investment and outcomes tied to metrics and P&L impact.
• Manage one Plan of Action (POA) for various siloed projects for streamlined governance and more coordinated approach to LTP.
• Lead a team of transformation directors and senior strategists.
• Manage agile transformations, design thinking workshops, user stories with the directors below.
• Responsible for L2C OPEX budget and CPM management.

Experience and Leadership Characteristics:

• 20 years of experience in transactional and outcome-based businesses
• In-depth industry/competitor knowledge and external perspectives
• Champion of process culture, methodology and KPIs
• Excellent ability in simplifying the complex, analytical thinking, and data-driven insights
• Strong engagement skills and ability to build partnerships across various functions
• Comfort around senior management
• Ability to drive change effectively, even through resistance
• Operations background with proven track record of driving transformation and demonstrated experience in large scale project execution
• Digitalization, process & tool transformation experience
• Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills

• Ability to create and build highly effective teams
