McGee Wealth Management, a growing Financial Advisory firm located in Katy, TX, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing team. We are a financial planning firm that has client service as our #1 priority and we are looking for someone with the same mindset to join us as a full-time Associate Advisor. We are intending this position to start in Q1 2024.

You might be a good fit for this position:
- You are currently working as a Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, and/or Wealth Advisor
- You have the CFP or are working to complete
- You are looking to start working with financial planning clients ASAP
- You would like to career track to become a Lead Advisor
- The successful candidate will work directly with the firm's wealth advisors, including its senior partners, and will serve as a point person for all clients assigned to him/her. You will prepare for and be involved in client review meetings, as well as screening qualified referrals.
Qualifications:
- CFP designation or working towards one of these and 1 year of experience working in a Financial Advisory firm.
- A strong desire to work in an ensemble group all clients are clients of the firm
- Ability to juggle multiple projects successfully
- Ability to learn new concepts and software packages quickly
- Independently motivated, have excellent communication skills and have a strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client's needs and requirements
- Must interact effectively with office staff and be a goal-oriented team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional phone and client service skills, positive and upbeat attitude at all times
Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant (who is the hiring manager for this position). If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates may be asked to take assessments. A background and credit check will be required.
