SUMMARY:
As a Senior Associate Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing strategic guidance and financial planning assistance to our Select Service clients. Working closely with the advisory team and our centralized planning team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized investment advice, conducting financial analyses, providing internal support, and maintaining client relationships. Your expertise and experience within the financial planning space will contribute to the growth and success of the firm while ensuring clients receive exceptional service and achieve their financial goals.
This is an exempt salaried position in our Addison, TX office that requires in office work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage client relationships from Select Service Pool
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Review plan with clients on annual basis to enable Allworth to fulfill its fiduciary mission in planning and investment management.
- Communicate updates from Investment Management Team to clients as needed, answer questions regarding allocation, methodology, etc.
- Shadows & Presents in Financial Advisor client appointments to gain valuable training.
- Creates, updates and implement financial plans for their clients.
- Mentors and assists with training of Associate Advisors as needed.
- Performs various tasks and research relating to casework for clients.
- Assists with future and existing client communication.
- Attends company events, including workshops and seminars.
- Takes appropriate steps to obtain the CFP designation if applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Business Finance, Economics, or related field
- In pursuit or have obtained CFP designation, CHFC designation or Series 65.
- Additional licensing 6, 63, State Insurance preferred.
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently
- Proven experience in financial planning, investment advisory, or a similar role, preferably within a financial advisory firm.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
