Job Summary Department-Specific Responsibilities Works with Program Chair and Director to develop, design, and execute the overall Student Recruitment strategy for the MSM program in the MGP office to deliver well-qualified and diverse cohorts. Meets with prospective students, evaluates applications, interviews applicants and makes admission recommendations.

Collaborates and communicates effectively with myriad stakeholders including Program office leadership and team as well as with Kelley faculty and staff (e.g., Undergraduate Program, +Kelley Program, Marketing & Communications, etc.), campus entities (e.g., College of Arts and Sciences, Jacobs School of Music, Athletics, Public Health, Computing and Engineering., Office of International Admissions, UITS, etc.), and other universities. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing and recruitment strategies, including highly personalized communications with student suspects and prospects throughout the year. Participates in career and graduate fairs, plans and leads information sessions, delivers classroom presentations, and presents to other targeted student populations to increase awareness of the MSM program.

General Responsibilities Maintains, implements and oversees a holistic recruitment yield tactical plan for recruitment. Develops, implements, and administers plans, programs, and events for general and targeted Student Recruitment in support of organizational goals. Integrates a diverse and strategic communications strategy in collaboration with other departments, geared toward specific student declared academic major, career interests, and geographic factors.

Identifies and develops partnerships for outreach to prospective students and influencers. Interprets academic policies and exercises authority and independent judgment. Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and processes and determines the effectiveness of markets and strategies.

Exercises independent judgment and uses census data and modeling tools to identify effective marketing plans and strategies to address specific populations. Serves in a collaborative role with internal and external stakeholders to identify targets of opportunity to attract and enroll under-represented populations. Participates in the assessment and evaluation of various models.

May attend meetings or serve on committees with the admissions stakeholders, including all staff meetings, recruitment, and outreach team meetings, customer service lead meetings, and undergraduate recruitment council meetings; may provide guidance to other Admissions Counselors. Qualifications Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience.

EDUCATION Required Bachelor's degree Preferred Master's degree and experience within a higher education and admissions environment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation. Occasional travel required.

Occasional evening/weekend responsibilities. Work Location This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
