Our HR Technology and Operations (HRTO) organization is responsible for the global HR technology and People Analytics strategy and portfolio. We provide HR shared services and operational support across the enterprise. A key capability in HRTO is analytics, supported by a growing centralized People reporting and analytics team.

The Associate Director of People Analytics plays a crucial role within the People Analytics team, providing support to a key business area and/or a center of excellence within the Human Resources organization.

In this role, you will drive impact by generating targeted analytics solutions for the business areas or centers of excellence you support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing analytics consultation to business leaders, HR business partners, and COEs.
  • Understanding, shaping, and defining data and analytics needs and requests.
  • Conducting simple, moderate, and complex BU/COE-level analyses, and present data and insights to collaborators in a story-telling format.
  • Promoting self-service, functional upskilling, and data-driven decision-making using data tools, demonstrating analytics solutions and insights.
  • Configuring analytics solutions to meet COE/business-specific requirements.
  • Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from a multitude of internal and external sources to provide advanced insights.
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting KPI and related data to evaluate progress towards the goals and effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives (return on investment).
  • Acting as a “first line of defense” and liaison between the Business Units/Center of Excellence and HR Tech/HR Solutions as it relates to reporting and analytics requests.
​Basic Requirements:
  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in business analytics, to include experience using reporting/query, data management, and statistical tools (i.e., R, Python, SAS, SQL)

Additional Preferred Skills:​

  • Proficiency in Workday dashboard/reporting configuration
  • Proficiency in integrating various data sources
  • Understanding (and ability to differentiate when to use) of different analytics and reporting tools within and outside of Workday
  • Experience in project management
  • A​dvanced degree in related People Analytics field
  • Experience working with or have domain knowledge of Human Resources
  • Effectively collaborate with a wide variety of HR and cross-functional partners, technical and non-technical, to surface insights, identify and frame problems/opportunities, develop solutions, and drive actions aligned with business priorities
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface across levels, business areas, and cultures; ability to clearly and concisely deliver data-driven insights and compelling narratives to influence senior leaders and other audiences
  • Ability to coach on and assess technical and non-technical/transferable skills
  • Solid understanding of workforce data management and the broader technology ecosystem
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  • Meticulous with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Experience developing organizational change and upskilling strategies
