About The Role: | Major goals and objectives
The Associate Director, HRBP, is responsible for driving strategic and positive organizational change through innovative HR solutions that support our people and our business. They will build trusting relationships and offer credible and thoughtful guidance to all employees empowering them to reach their full potential. They will support leaders and employees on our Tech, Finance, and Sustainability content teams, as well as Magazine Operations.
About The Role's Contributions:
60% - Work with leaders to create effective organizational design, change management strategies, and communication approaches, as well as develop employee engagement, performance management, and talent retention strategies that support business goals.
20% - Coach employees on career development, performance and team relations.
20% - Partner with talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, HRIS, and legal as needed.
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years in a related role with experience supporting multiple client groups and senior business leaders.
-Proven track record of problem-solving and dealing with ambiguity.
-Experience providing guidance and direct feedback.
-Experience conducting investigations.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Strong HR procedure, best practice, and legal knowledge.
-Ability to build relationships and trust.
-Conflict management and resolution skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and goals.
-High ethical standards.
-Experience with Workday is preferred but not required.
