Position Overview:
Partner with the Head of Governance and Administration to support the Global Real Assets platform on operational, compliance/governance and business management related initiatives and facilitate coordination between investment management groups and other areas of the organization.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the 1st line day-to-day execution of activities to ensure that appropriate risk identification and assessments are performed, controls exist and are operating effectively, and procedures are in compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate standards and policies.
• Create, maintain and update documentation and procedures for processes, policies and projects.
• Develop and/or provide training on new or modified procedures as needed.
• Maintain an understanding of funds/portfolios/strategies and strategic objectives of the global real asset's platform.
• Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate business unit management.
• Apply fundamental concepts of enterprise risk and compliance policies.
• Work on assignments of moderate scope and complexity, with limited oversight.
• Make recommendations for changes to procedures, and perform varied work, requiring some originality or ingenuity.
• Responsible for special projects as assigned by department head.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Seven years of relevant work experience.
• Progressive experience value chain, governance structures and control environment including operational risk assessments and/or internal controls, preferably in Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to present and interact with various levels of management.
• Ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels.
• Comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of accountability with a drive for results.
• Professional maturity and ability to be discreet in working with sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and/or experience in the asset management industry with a registered investment advisor.
• CPA or CIA.
