What you will do:
The Associate Director, Benefits Americas is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the benefits programs for our employees. This role oversees the administration of health, wellness, retirement, and other benefits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Associate Director, Benefits Americas also analyzes the effectiveness and competitiveness of the benefits offerings, and recommends enhancements and improvements based on best practices and industry trends.
How you will do it:
- Execute the benefits strategy and budget, aligned with the company's goals and values
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the benefits programs, including enrollment, eligibility, claims, billing, and vendor relations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to benefits, such as ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and satisfaction of the benefits providers and vendors, and negotiate contracts and renewals
- Communicate and educate employees on the benefits programs, policies, and procedures, and provide guidance and support on benefits-related issues and inquiries
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness and value of the benefits programs, and propose enhancements and innovations based on data and feedback
- Lead and manage the benefits team, and provide coaching and development opportunities
- Collaborate with other HR functions and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of the benefits programs with other initiatives and processes
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in benefits administration and management, preferably in a large and complex organization
- Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, and best practices and trends in benefits design and delivery
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and ability to use data and metrics to drive outcomes
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, and familiar with benefits technology and platforms
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or other relevant certification is a plus
This will be a hybrid role based at our Glendale, WI office 2-3 days per week.
