Description du poste :
Your responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated research assistant to participate in our clinical biology lab and to support our Study Directors with all aspects of the preclinical studies:
Laboratory Technician :
-Preparing and performing routine blood (hematology, biochemistry, coagulation, ELISA, ...) and urine tests.
-Lab and clinical data management (input, processing, reporting).
-Managing laboratory and clinical equipment (validations, software updates, calibrations, maintenance, periodic quality checks).
-Management of the lab (orders and purchases, quality controls, maintaining inventory).
-Compliance with GLP regulations.
-Occasional participation in the weekend rotation.
Study Director Assistant :
- Assist the Study Directors with:
-> Set-up: planning, ordering, preparing of materials and paperwork
->Conduct, follow-up & data management: data collection, documentation and analysis, data review (QC), database entry and generating/tabulating data
->Reporting of study results
Archiving of study records and materials
- Logistical responsibilities: maintenance of client materials inventory, shipment of specimens, maintaining accurate chain of custody documentation, ...
- Comply to GLP regulations and ensure GLP standards are met.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g., agro- and biotechnology, (bio)chemistry, medical laboratory technology, veterinary technology or other relevant discipline.
- Experience with GLP or other quality system is an asset but not a must.
-You are dedicated to your tasks, precise and perfectionist, eager to learn, willing to invest time in your learning process and flexible in switching between tasks.
- Team player with a hands-on mentality and proactive approach.
- You are proficient in English.
- Advanced IT skills, working with different tools such as MS Office, Smartsheet, Labware.
- An entrepreneurial can-do attitude of an SME
