Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. As an Estate Planning Attorney, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with developing and implementing personalized estate plans, creating trusts, managing trust administration, and guiding families through the probate process. Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations to understand clients' estate planning needs.
- Prepare diverse estate planning documents: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Develop customized estate plans considering tax, assets, and family dynamics.
- Provide legal guidance on trust administration and efficient asset distribution.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings, including estate administration, spousal property, and 850 Petition.
- Collaborate with the team to review and update estate plans.
- Stay updated on estate planning laws, regulations, and tax codes.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the state bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing estate planning law, with a strong focus on trusts, trust administration, and probate matters.
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset protection techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively and compassionately to clients of various backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous approach to legal work.
- Previous experience in a law firm specializing in estate planning is preferred.
- Familiarity with estate planning software and case management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with filing 706 and 709 tax returns is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with WealthCounsel software is another huge plus.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
