As a Renewal Underwriter, you'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of our company. Reporting directly to the Director of Underwriting, you'll take on the essential role of overseeing all renewal businesses with care and precision. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all renewal business for the Auto Commercial department, including reviewing policy documents for accuracy and completeness, rating accounts, and setting up the fleet analysis tool for fleet renewals.
• Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for new business, conduct pre-reviews of underwriting submissions, and evaluate referrals based on basic underwriting guidelines.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service, and follow up on requests for information. Enter or amend quotes as requested by underwriters.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Underwriting to ensure departmental goals are achieved, and maintain smooth and efficient operations by working closely with other departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including monthly review and upload of information required for monthly MVR monitoring. Review monitored MVRs monthly for activity, accompanied by pertinent exclusions or communication to insureds when necessary.
• Service policies by reviewing and accurately processing various changes/endorsement requests, producing certificates of coverage, and issuing a variety of policy-related documents per insured's request.
• Conduct loss control activities, including visit requests, report follow-up, proper documentation/filing, and assisting underwriters with various underwriting-related tasks.
• Perform a range of administrative tasks as required, including translating when necessary for company-related functions, and provide assistance to management as needed with miscellaneous tasks (e.g., calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, document preparation, etc.).

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
