- Assist and support Underwriters with new and renewal business submissions for insurance company partners based on underwriting authority and contract guidelines, including evaluating, classification, and rating of risks to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing;
- Develop and submit underwriting referrals, where required, to underwriters for approval
- Serve as a secondary contact point for underwriting referrals and enquiries from branches
- Handle a high volume of workload in a fast-paced environment, maintaining excellence service standards to branch offices and company partners
- Preparation and management of all file documentation including inspections, binders, invoices, policies and endorsements utilizing applicable company systems
- Deliver high quality service to branch offices and brokers
- In conjunction with underwriters, work closely with the branch offices to develop relationships and enhance their understanding of the Company’s Underwriting rationale, philosophy and criteria, resulting in increased production of profitable business

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of Property & Casualty underwriting support experience preferred
- Insurance experience in underwriting support with excess and surplus lines preferre
- Sales & Marketing experience preferred
