Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our property management portfolio, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and overall property performance. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
- Communicate with tenants to address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the resolution of tenant issues and ensure a positive living experience.
Property Maintenance:
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs with vendors and internal maintenance teams.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Leasing and Vacancy Management:
- Assist in the leasing process, including showing vacant units, screening prospective tenants, and preparing lease agreements.
- Work closely with the Property Manager to minimize vacancies and maximize occupancy rates.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting.
- Collect rent payments and monitor accounts receivable.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the property management team.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, leases, and property-related documents.
Compliance:
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable property management policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
