Assistant Property Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team in overseeing the daily operations of our properties. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the leasing process, including conducting property tours, screening potential tenants, and preparing lease agreements
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with rent collection and ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling vendors and contractors
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and meets all safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including lease agreements, maintenance requests, and tenant communications
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting for the property
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement strategies for improving tenant satisfaction

Skills:
- Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC programs
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Basic understanding of property maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
